World Haiku Day!

Today is World Haiku Day! I am horrible with Haiku, but... I'll give it a try. Notes behind the LJ cut.

i.

Tuna fish salad!
Too much salt, where is mayo?
Tuna fish is bad!


ii.

I clean, sparkles shine;
Lysol wipes are very brown;
no smile, OCD?


iii.


Picture Perfect, No!
Zits, Scars, Blemishes! Quickly,
fair mirror shatters


iv.

Mask hangs on white wall,
pretty, cold, Scary; wall knows--
mask hides only me.



Haiku i. is totally about my dinner tonight-- it was really salty, really bad, and lacked SOMETHING. I think I should have put celery in it, but I had none. So I had bad Tuna Fish Salad :(

The Haiku was originallly:

Tuna fish salad made!
Too much salt, where is mayo?
Tuna fish salad bad!

But right after I posted it, I realized that Tuna was two syllables >.<

Haiku ii. refers to the Kitchen Cleaning Incident that occured today. The OCD refers to *cough* the Aunt I'm living with-- I think it would be 3 syllables XD. I had now in there but realized that very was two syllables and would work better-- hopefully wipes is only one syllable XD.

Haiku iii. came out of nowhere. Seriously, it just came to me. Merriam-Webster said that "Mirror" is two syllables, but they could be wrong XD.

Haiku iv. is about one of the two African Masks that hang on my wall by the comptuer-- both of them scare the bejesus out of me, but I wasn't the one who designed my room. I always was afraid of Masks though XD
