Which brings me to a total of 44 new books on the year: 42 new novels & 2 non-fiction.

This was a terrible book; technically I finished it in November, but only because it was so terrible, and I want to honor October's valiant struggle to get through this dreck by placing the blame squarely on the month's shoulders XD. This novel had one job (convincing the reader that a lady would marry a blacksmith in Regency England) and it failed spectacularly at it. Ug.
