To anyone who was curious, the surgery was okay-- he hadn't woken up yet when my mom left the hospital, but the nurse is going to have him call my mom when he's lucid again.

Meanwhile my uterus is punishing my child-free state by sending Velociraptor-rage cramps to shred my back. Right before an 9 hour inventory shift, thank you body oh so much. T____T

In other news, I am still at negative words for the month! Which means I should probably stop fail!editing and actually start writing new content, particularly as the tags are starting to pile up again XD.

At least tomorrow is Wednesday and I can have a cheap laugh at Sasuke wanting to be Hokage XD

Have you ever thought of creating a word 'value' for your editing, particularly for productive editing? I think editing is also a valuable way to spend your writer time, since I feel like that is where a person can really critically analyze your work, and maybe you shouldn't be going 'negative' cause you are spending time on that.

Good thing that the surgery is okay <3 Be sure to let me know if you need any more rides, but hopefully you can rest a bit now.

Alas, this is not a condition that one surgery will make it all better-- he's still not in good condition because his vitals are all over the place, the swelling is pretty alarming, and the gallstones are making everything more complicated and dangerous than normal. I'd originally thought the surgery was to remove his gallstones, but apparently they are worried about going in the area with the pancreas this swollen. The dead tissue they removed was actually blocking the duct that connects to the pancreas, so hopefully that makes it easier for the swelling to go down enough so he can get the gallstones removed. My mom thinks they are going to just cut out his gallbladder entirely in case of this flaring up again and I think she's got it pegged. She use to see stuff like this at my grandfather's practice, so she's got a better understanding than I do. She thinks if he can avoid getting an infection, he's got an okay chance right now. But infections are super easy to pick up at the hospital, so it is pretty much a wait and see game.

And honestly I shouldn't be trying to force creativity when my head is in this state anyway.
