ARE YOUR ICONS MADE MOSTLY BY OTHER PEOPLE: Yes. By my last count, I've only made 31 of my current icons.
DO YOU MAKE ICONS: Yes! I haven't in a while, thanks to not having photoshop.
ARE THEY ANY GOOD: I like to think some of them are. This is probably my favorite icon just by how complex it was-- I was using paint shop pro and 4 images to make that, way back in 2003ish I believe. Plus, turtle power! My icons tend to be more collage than anything else (see exhibit a and exhibit b)
ANIMATED ICONS ARE: I enjoy them, but I haven't seemed to collect any for a few years :/

(a) I HAD NO IDEA THE POKEMON WAS ALL OVER TUMBLR BUT ROFL. The Pokemon is called Haunter! http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Haunter It is based on a Filipino mythical ghost that used to lick people to death! Flipping people off is totally in character for it!

(b) YES that is the Fat Cat from Natsume's Book of Friends. WE NEED TO WATCH THE ANIME DAMMIT

1. IT COULD BE MARA T-REX, IF IT WOULD AMUSE YOU. <3 Seriously, I think the exercise is intended to refer to the tiny person, but the T-rex is just as valid. XD This is one I ganked from iconomicon. Jack Shoegazer is an icon mastah.

2. I actually made this one, from a remix of the "Get Excited and Make Stuff" remix of the original "Keep Calm and Carry On" poster. I made it because I find I am becoming increasingly absent-minded as I get older. XD

3. YESTERDAY, ACTUALLY. I had coffee this morning. <3 This is another Jack Shoegazer creation.

What's the story behind this one? ADORABLE :D

Judging by the subject, do you knit? If so, what was the last thing you worked on?

Star Trek 4: I love it EVER SO MUCH. I was somewhat gleeful to discover when I came on the internets that I'm not the only one that calls it Star Trek: The Whales. It's the basis of some of my earliest Star Trek memories, the earliest of which was asking my mom if I could watch it. I think we were still in NY then, which means I couldn't have been more than 4. MY GEEKERY STARTED AT A YOUNG AGE, YES. :D

Heee heeeeeee, you found Kroko! :D Kroko's a patient at The Asylum, a psychiatric hospital for mishandled cuddly toys (there is an English version to choose from when you click on Spiel to start the game). It's a Flash game where you have to treat stuffed animals that have been mishandled and help them solve their problems. I found it shortly after I took a class in psychology, and was really excited to recognize some of the terms used. Kroko suffers from heaps of fear and paranoia. I seem to recall that when I linked the game to Sage, she proceeded to drug Kroko into oblivion. XD

My goodness I'm a TOTAL knitter. I both spin and knit, and I've got crochet in my sights as the next fibery thing to tackle. I've knit all sorts of things, including lace and hats, although the most recent thing I worked on is sitting next to me, as I was working on it while I waited for my computer to stop having a complete and utter fit about ten minutes ago. It's a silly belt-scarf thingy I'm making for myself out of feathery fun fur, in black, white, and grey, so in theory when it's done it'll look like it was made out of ostrich feathers!

1) absolutely. It's my crone icon, and I think I've been a crone since I was a child, so ... (Plus, corvids. Totally me. XD )

2) OH GOD FANIME IS TOO CLOSE PANIC FLAIL. *ahem* I think my favourite thing, honestly, is the sword. I am so stupidly proud of how that thing turned out. XD

3) I don't think so. I love that moment of Death's way, WAY too much; live-action Sandman would weird me out, and I think even animated would be odd.
