Might need cheering on later today, am entirely too crazy for words

This is an interesting Nanowrimo experience. I'm so dead post-work I'm utterly failing to get any progress done without the help of everyone at Wrimies. There have been serious motivational issues and a lot of private challenge flouncing going on behind the scenes. But all of that evaporated when I realized I was 9K behind my word rival.

THIS CANNOT STAND. MUST BEAT WORD RIVIAL. MUST DO IT NOW.

So my goal for today is to hit 17,500-18,000 words.  

I don't go into work until 7:30 and have 3 huge scenes I've been dying to write, so it is possible...

Why do I do these things to myself.  XD

To be honest, any words are a success at this point. Trying to find the focus and motivation to write this year has been atrocious, thanks to all these crazy work shifts. Like the surprise overnight I'm going to head out on in a few hours.

Alas I spent most of the day sleeping (body has decided KOL NO SLEEPING BEFORE 8AM OKAY!), so 7K today doesn't look feasible. But I should hit 5K before I head to work at 6:30... XD
