Where did our internet/cellphones/ATM access go? Four or five cables kill South Bay service!

Latest Kol Injury (yes I resisted uploading pictures. HURTY.)

Aunt was able to drive herself to the doctor. She is not fully recovered, though, as the thought of celebratory new clothes shopping just gave her a headache.

I cried five times today, once at work's bathroom. Started on one of Pixie's prompts and feel loads better, even if stupid drabble doesn't fit any of the prompts. So yay, extra fic for Pixie? XD.

I miss Conan ;___;. Leno just came on and I'm just so ready for Conan to be back. COME BACK CONAN ;________;.

Doesn't matter if it doesn't fit the prompts -- if it made you feel better, that's AWESOME. *hugs* (Also, SO not gonna turn my nose up at Kol!fics. <333)

EDIT AFTER COFFEE BECAUSE I AM BRAIN-DAMAGED:
South Bay Outage: First thing I thought when I read about that was "OMG NO INNERNETS FOR KOL" XD (I think it was an inside job myself -- the CWA are in talks with AT&T, and they pulled this same stunt years back in Oakland when AT&T was SBC...)

Injury: OWIE. ;____; (Also, would it be okay if I follow you on Twitter? XD)

Sad Things: ARE SAD. ;___; Though I don't watch Southland -- was thinking about it, though, since it's a new show and I wouldn't have to play catchup for a million years like I would to catch up on other shows I'm semi-interested in like House or Doctor Who.

I am pretty sure it was an inside job as well! I'm in Santa Clara, so I luckily wasn't part of the outage, but my poor mother was stuck with no cable, no internet, no phone, NOTHING all night. She was a little cranky this morning when her service was finally brought back!

Southland was interesting, particularly with how they shot the pilot. The frantic nature of each shot fit the situations perfectly and really kept me on my toes watching. So it reminded me a lot of early ER. I don't know if all the episodes are going to tug at the sorrow heartstrings like the first episode did.

I'm about nine episodes behind on House, so I feel your pain *__*.

Ending on a happy note is always good! And on that account, spoiler for first drabble: Mara's drinking. Which, you know, isn't so much of a spoiler, since she's always drinking these days XD
