1. Comment on this post.
2. I will give you a letter.
3. Think of 5 fictional characters and post their names and your comments on these characters in your LJ.
4. Kolsbeckistan rule: if you can't think of all five, I can give you another letter-- but you have to use the first letter for at least one character!

1) Inigo Montoya-- How can you not love him? Seriously, Inigo is of my favorite characters ever. And by far the most quotable character in The Princess Bride! I think he really had the most compelling story in the movie, which helped me identify with him the most. Plus, I love him. FIVE MILLION TIMES.

2-3) The Kurosaki boys, Ichigo & Isshin -- I love these two, especially when they are beating each other up <33. I can't wait to push past the filler to see more of Isshin-- he's my favorite ridiculous!anime!daddy character, not only for his wacky antics and bizarre training of his son, but also for moments of heart (the scene with the smokes zomg) and courage he displays, too. You can tell he really cares for his kids AND loves hanging out with them. What isn't there to love?

Ichigo is one of the few series leads that I love with unabashed glee-- probably because a) he's Deon and b) he's every bit as much a dweeb as Renji (and I <3 Renji to pieces). While I'm frequently frustrated by his stubbornness and inability to rely on people, I *get* Ichigo and really enjoy watching his journey. You know.

4) Impulse/Bart Allen -- Oh Impulse, the few episodes you've been in Smallville have not been enough! I really wish they'd just let Clark hang out with the Justice Bros on Smallville. Mostly so I can see Bart again-- he's by far my favorite secondary character on Smallville, and any time he's on Smallville, you know I'll be giggling with excitement. I love the fact he keeps Clark on his toes and has a serious crush on Chloe-- these are two things the show definitely needs more of ;).

5) Inara Serra-- Inara was one of those characters I loved to hate, mostly because I disliked how the show set up her character. And while not my favorite character on Firefly, upon rewatching the show, it has become clear that Inara provided a much needed balance to the cast, reigning in some of the other actors and really adding that mysterious undercurrent. I wish we could have found out what was really going on with Inara-- I remember there was some speculation going on that she was older than she looked-- I think it could have made me appreciate the character while the show was still on the air instead of years later ;).

I agree with you 100% on Ichigo. He is stuck in a really, really cliche DBZ/Naruto/generic shounen main character role, but all of the quirks in his character makes him so much more compelling. I think one of my favorite parts is when you find out Ichigo, Chad, and Orihime are at the top of their classes (to help deflect how they get made fun of). His attitude and so many of his one-liners make me ROFL. Basically, he is win.

Also, LETTER ME PLZ.

Bleach is so about the misfits, which elevates the cast a little beyond the usual characterization, I think, because they *continue* to be misfits for the most part. And they are all pretty much dorks XD.

I letter you! Um... "S!"

I approve of Kolbeckistan Rule #4. It is clever. :D

Also, Isshin is made of win. Ichigo, though he vexes me endlessly (I megaloathe Shonen Main Character Syndrome), is far less annoying than many of his ilk, and I even like him at times ... though not enough to forgive him for taking over the story when I want to hear so much more about lesser characters. T_T

Ah, fic!account, why are your icons shinier...

Kolsbeckistan is the single greatest made-up country *ever.* And not just because I'm the imaginary monarch ;).

I need to get past the Bount!arc so I can get more Isshin ;____;. But the Bount!arc is so hard to get through. I must be strong! At least Rangiku showed up and actually kicked a little butt with Chad. That helped push me forward a few episodes *___*.

I think they need to do a spin-off of Bleach centered around the lesser characters (you know, *after* we get the main plot wrapped up). Hey, if they are doing something similar with Fushigi Yūgi, they can do it with Bleach!

What Bounto arc? *denies it ever existed, aside from the Sunset Swish song*

Q.F.T. OMG. DO WANT. Then I can stop writing fic.

Somehow, I doubt he would answer all the questions, plus a continuation would definitely inspire a great many more fanfics. Which is partially why I'm so envious of him-- such a fertile canvas to play with! And why side notes like the pendulum arc work so well.

... yes, I read that, even though I still haven't gotten to the vizards yet. XD What, when do I ever do anything logically!
