OH GOD. BEST GAME EVER. I mean, right off the bat, they did the Bill Walsh tribute-- AND JERRY RICE AND STEVE YOUNG WERE THERE. STANDING NEXT TO EACH OTHER. TOTALLY BEAMING. I TOTALLY CRIED.

BUT THE GAME. OH. OH GOD. THE DEFENSE. I love close games, and the Giants ran a beautiful game. I have no problem with them winning-- they got a few calls against them that should have been made, but they earned the win, much more than the Patriots did. So it was satisfying to see them win-- especially after that beautiful catch, WHERE THE GUY CAUGHT IT ON HIS HEAD, FELL OVER ThE OTHER GUY BACKWARDS, AND SOMEHOW GOT IT TO HIS CHEST. IT WAS THE MOST AWESOME FOOTBALL CATCH I HAVE EVER SEEN. (I think it was this move: (1:15) (Shotgun) 10-E.Manning pass deep middle to 85-D.Tyree to NE 24 for 32 yards (37-R.Harrison), but TiVo stopped recording with 3 minutes left-.-!!)

EDIT: I FOUND A PICTURE and commentary!

I really like Moss, so I was happy he got a touchdown, but the Patriots weren't able to stop the Giants. Which is unfortunate, as EVERYONE in the manroom was rooting for the Patriots. K's brother is a MASSIVE fan, so much that he was actually AT THE GAME. He called and got K sniffling, so I think he was crying. The whole end of the game was so bad for Patriot fans, too-- so close to winning. SO CLOSE.

Anyway. Yeah. AWESOME GAME. Though Prince is still my favorite halftime show. THE RAIN. PRINCE. THE GIRLS DANCING IN THE RAIN IN 5INCH HEELS. PRINCE!!!!

As someone living on the east coast and having to hear people day in and day out saying OMG THE PATRIOTS ARE THE BEST THEY DESERVE TO WIN THEY ARE BETTER THAN YOU, I was more than happy to see the Giants win. God that pass ruled.

AND ME TOO, OMG I MARKED OUT SO BAD FOR YOUNG AND RICE. I WAS LIKE OMG MY OTP!!!!!!!!!!! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

I can't imagine how crazy it must have been the last week back east-- here, Patriot fans have been crowing all week long. Tomorrow will be v. satisfying to see how they deal with the loss. Hopefully better than their coach did, because walking off the field before the game was over? Totally lame.

I didn't really care who won the superbowl; once the Cowboys got knocked out, I was able to breathe easier and be happy for the teams. If my 49ers are still sucking, then at least I can have small consolation that the Cowboys aren't going all the way, either ;).

... I wish I'd taken pictures from the projection screen. Wasn't really able to get any clear shots of the bois ;___;. Damn you TV and your unclear picture! XD
