Waking up to emergency broadcast system = never good

Just had an emergency alert on flash flood warnings with the best advice ever when coming across swiftly moving water of unknown depth: "Turn around-- don't drown!"

And I just woke up from an EIGHT HOUR NAP. o.0;;. WEIRD WEIRD DAY YA'LL.

When I'm broody, I just don't do well with rain. And what happens the moment broody!Kol pops up? Record amounts of rain. Sigh.

So it was probably a good thing I slept through the worst of the rain today, even if it was completely random taking an 8 hour nap o.0;;. I guess the important thing is I feel considerably less broody now? XD

Not too worried for Santa Clara-- the emergency flash flood warning was for a few town to the south. Now, if the rain gets WORSE we could be in trouble from the pool flooding, which housemates are saying happened in 2002. Bad pool, no cookies!
