Yesterday I weighed myself about once every three hours, just to see on whim how much my weight was fluctuating in a day. I started off 184 and ended up 189, so it wasn't as bad as it use to be. It seems as my weight goes down, the fluctuation spread decreases; last month it would go up as much as 9 pounds, this month it was only 5. And I know exactly what caused my weight to go up two pounds today-- crazy increased sodium and water intake from yesterday. I had salsa and chips and pretty high in sodium soup, which coupled with my abnormal amount of water intake, gave me a fake-two pound gain. I'm sure it will go down to 184/185 once the sodium gets worked out of my system :D.
In other news, I got my ATM card yesterday! Wahoo! Let the spending commence! I think Aunt felt guilty about something or another, because she also brought down a gift with her: a Bluewick Yuzu Giftbox she picked up on her recent trip to Arizona. It has three tiny candles and a bar of the most delicious smelling soap I think I've ever come across. The scent is complex and without a trace of vanilla (which is, along with lavender and thyme, by far my favorite scent), but I love it to death. The first impression I got was a strong lemon, but with a round, sweet addition that keeps the citrus from being too overpowering. The votive candles carry the impression of the darker, richer berries, mild without a hint of lemon. I can't smell the lemon at all here, and it actually smells more like the lime that is listed on the ingredients. The candles are a soy base and the soap is a vegetable base; base scents for the Yuzu line are grapefruit, lime, and currant.
It is a strong, but not over powering scent; I've had the soap on my computer table since yesterday and keep picking it up for a quick, invigorating sniff XD. I wish they made more products, because I'd totally buy them in a heartbeat <3.
