MY AUNT IS THE BESTEST SHE IS LOANING ME THE 200 DOLLARS I NEED FOR RENT OMG YOU MUST ALL BOW DOWN AND WORSHIP MY AUNTIE.
So, I finished the essay with enough time to actually sit down and have something to eat and catch my usual bus, except I lost my bus pass. Cue insane crying and throwing of the clothes around and general hysteria that comes with only getting 4 hours of sleep. It was kind of funny afterwards, but it was kind of scary during because I couldn't find the damned bus pass, I don't have enough change to get to school, and I had a presentation to give, paper to turn in, and lunch with Rebecca that I couldn't miss.
So, I finally find my bus pass and I quickly finish changing but soon realize I have to leave NOW or I'll miss my regular bus. Except when I put my shirt on I lost my bus pass AGAIN.
CUE EVEN MORE INSANE CRYING AND THROWING OF THE CLOTHES AND GENERAL HYSTERIA. Ten minutes later I found it under my bed beneath my lightsaber [I don't know how it got there either], but by then I'd missed my bus and was in danger of missing the one that would get me to SJSU at 10:26 (barely enough time to run from 1st street to my class on 7th street).
To recap-- no food in my stomach, have been sobbing hysterically, and haven't even brushed my hair yet [also keep in mind my printer broke at 9:20 when I was trying to print my essay, only adding to the stress], so somehow I managed to run out of the house in almost one piece and run down Winchester to Valley Faire, where I got to the bus stop right as the bus did. It was glorious-- if I could have breathed.
After running the 7 blocks to class, I found a few people in my class waiting for an elevator-- Sweeney Hall's second elevator broke again. But once I got up to the fourth floor, I RAN for the class and got there only 2 minutes late.
Why the rush? Not only was I presenting today, but the teacher is insane about students being late. You can imagine what she would have said if I had gotten there 5-6 minutes later (if I had walked instead of hobble/ran). The strange thing was, I was so out of breath by the time I got to class that she told me to calm down-- I was presenting the last 10 minutes of class anyway.
Pretty well, actually. I had no organized notes on what I was going to say but it ended up going very well. I think I had a very good receitation of the poem (I read the final 18 lines to prove my point that the theme of the poem changed with the interruption mid-composition), and my mini!lecture managed to answer almost every question people had.
Plus a cute guy said I did well on my presentation after while I was frantically dialling Rebecca on my cell, so I had to have done good <3.
Anyway, it was good enough that I might get a letter of recommendation from the professor for entry into the Teaching Credentials program, which was the whole point of me taking RL in the first place. Yay-age!
