kolI think this LJ is turning into a Fandom/Nano hive of random posts. All in all just what it's supposed to be XD.
Alright, first up for the season is Miss-Match. I <3 Alicia Silverstone in all her roles, but this one certainly fits. I mean, it just rocks. I love the show-- the second episode was a little shaky but managed to pull through. HOWEVER, I missed the last episode. Why? I had no warning the Miss-Match had changed nights. *meeps*
But I'm already a -her-fellow-lawyer-and-her shipper. Just have to remember the names of the characters...
Next up, the annual fav ok Enterprise, which this season is sporting "Star Trek:" before hand as well as a retooling-- down to the theme song. Sharie LOVES the theme song, but I prefer the older one simply because it was the original one and also because I HATE Twangy music.
As for the season, I've liked all the episodes. Even Raijin wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. However, there needs to be more Malcolm. Give him his own episode! I did love the last one-- it was very Zombie-ish, which made me happy. Reminded me of Resident Evil in a way-- the game, not the movie. But so far I've liked all the episodes... which is good.
Angel is next, and what is there not to love? Spike is there snarking to and about Angel, which has always been one of my favorite things to watch Spike do. His fighting scene with Angel (while in the body of the necro-dude) was flat out hilarious! I miss Cordie, but no Cordie is FAR better than pod-Cordie. I dislike Eve but I think that's because she's being written that way-- I love Lilah and want her back. But then again I'm a Wesley/Lilah shipper, so don't mind me.
And.. I'm potentially bothered by the fact they seem to be trying to make me into a Fred/Spike shipper. Spuffy=ots!! Meep! Yeah, I'm not good at this young person jibe I gues... anyway, I love Fred, but I'm an Angel/Fred shipper! Like Spike have all the hot ghosty!babes!. I'd be happy to see him and Harmony together-- they were hilarious the last time they were.
So the only things on Angel I'm not digging are Eve and Law&Disorder!Gunn. And Knox is my hero XD
And now for Alias, which I spent two years trying to deny existed but managed to get hogtyed into watching it.
I loved the first episode, second episode was ok, third episode was so boring I just turned it off 30 minutes into it. I know everyone is supposed to be in mad!love with Vaughn's wife... but the people in charge should SHOW why everyone should be instead of telling. I swear, if I see one more person tell Syd, "Oh, Vaughns wife is such a nice person" and then see Vaughn's wife say something snarky and such I'm going to just turn it off for good.
I'm not watching Alias for the Vaughn/Syd romance I guess, I'm watching it for Weiss/Syd fun moments and all the fun ops missions. Yes, am shipper of those two-- in the strict 'relationship of friends' sense, not romantically. Syd needs someone to help her without being in mad!love with her, you know? Oh well XD.
So in summary, HATE the Vaughn/Syd moments. I mean, he's MARRIED. I never got a soul-mate vibe from them the scant few episodes I watched anyway-- And why sodes Syd have to be with someone? Gah.
