kolWell, my blog is currently MIA because my entries aren't rebuilding themselves correctly. Had pics up, but changed the links because weird people are going to be looking at the site to help me figure out what is wrong >.<
Anyway...
My Aunt Mary Kay is going in for pretty tough surgery on her spine on the 23rd. The doctor said she had a 25 percent chance of coming out paralized-- but she's doing ok otherwise. She has a pretty bad tumor on the spine, but the doctor said that he's very confident that he can get it out with no problem. Mary Kay is also known as Aunt 6 by the way-- she's the youngest out of all my aunts, has had cancer three times (Breast Cancer twice, Overian Cancer once, although really it wasn't overian cancer, but I won't get into that), and is still going. She's only 43 years old, and all this medical stuff has happened to her... it's just sad...
I really don't know what to do right now. I want to keep this quiet and not tell anyone-- I did that when my mom almost died from a really bad MS attack in my junior year, and I did it when my aunt Lori (Aunt 3) almost died twice from Kidney Disease-- similiar to what Barry White died from. I hate talking about people having problems, and I hate talking online about it, but... I'm just asking that everyone send good vibes for my Aunt. I know that only two or three people read my LJ, and one or two of them don't believe in god, but that's ok-- just send good vibes anyway.
Because I feel like hiding the fact that my youngest Aunt is about to undergo a drastic surgery is being unfaithful to her. I feel the incredible need to tell the world, hey, stop bickering, stop warring-- we have someone who has done nothing WRONG in the world, and is suffering while people argue over petty things. I'm getting angsty here, so I'm just going to stop-- just, please send the good vibes to her? She's one of the funniest, most vivacious people I know, and ... it's just the only thing I can do to help her right now. It sounds lame... but... just send the good vibes >.<
