acemyth: What is your philosophy/motto in life? I have many philosphies in life, of which almost all of them are to blame on the Humanities department at SJSU. The big one I can blame on being a United Methodist is that I believe everyone should live life their own way... especially religion. Basically Live and Let Live would be that philosophy I guess XD.

cynthia_black: How did you choose your User Name, and what does it reveal of your character? Lainie is a nickname for Alaina, which is my favorite middle name but also the name I use on Lit projects. "kins" reflects the nickname "Ronnie-kins" and reflects my interest in HP. So I guess it shows that I like HP and I like to write XD.

aome: What did you want to be "when you grew up" when you were younger? If your current job/plans are different, why did you change? I had wanted to be a doctor like my grandfather from pretty much birth on up until I realized I can't handle fermaldohide AND the pressure of prescribing medication. So, my job plans shifted to psychology and in college focused more on marital counciling, a field I think I will do well in.

cycloethen: What was the worst nightmare you have ever had? I've had many... I think the worst was when I had a nightmare of my boyfriend at the time dying after a massive earthquake and then I ran off into the ocean, and the last thing in the dream before I woke up was my "red" hair above my head. At least, that's the color my hair was then XD

cedar85: Tell the story behind one or more of your scars (physical, not emotional). I have one on my left arm where my mom's big hulking bird scratched me a good one with his parrot claws of doom. Also, when I bite my lower lip and pull it back slightly, you can see the white scars from when I fell off the bathtub (I had been balancing on it) when I was three and my teeth broke the skin.

luminousmarble: What one thing would you like your great-great-grandchildren to know about you? What one thing would you NOT want them to know? I'd like them to know that I was/am proud of who I am, no matter what, and that I hope they share that trait as well. I wouldn't want them to know that I hated my mother during part of my adolescance because of her disabilities and her having MS.

naath: How do you learn (things-for-exams)? I cram the last minute and read all of the material. If it's from a textbook, I outline. I'm an obsessive outliner now :X

bopeepsheep: What was the cause of the worst physical pain you have ever been in? It's a tie between when I had my right middle finger stuck in a dorm jam and when I fell down the stairs last summer on my belly and fractured my leg.

til_midnight: Where do you live (a country is fine, just name a place)? Currently in Palo Alto, CA although I'll be back at SJSU in a couple months.

siriaeve: What is your biggest fear? Dying without anyone to remember or care about me.

Nostalga Ain't What It Used to Be

amaterasu: What's the coolest thing you've ever done? (Not the best, or the most accomplished, or the most life-altering, just the coolest). Well, meeting Patrick Swazy was one of them, but I think I'll go the geek-out and say meeting Steve Wozniak twice and sitting in the same booth at Shoreline both times XD.

shelaghc: If you could change one event from your own personal history, what would it be and how would you change it? I would have nailed down a job earlier this summer. I don't believe I'd want to change anything, though, because that wouldn't make me... me, you know?

linaelyn: Describe the one thing have you learned in the course of your education, either inside school or outside of it, which you consider the most valuable? Do not take a hard class with an easy going professor XD.

dancingrain: What memory would call up your personal Patronus spell? (in other words, what memory is your happiest or sweetest?): Either when I finished my Nanowrimo or when I saw my family at my graduation. I was so proud of my mother that day *__*

glissando: Describe the three best pairs of shoes that you've ever owned - favourites because of comfort, the way they look, the brand, any reason at all. My favorite pair of sneakers would be all of my sketcher tennis shoes. I have a pair of camos, a pair of light blue ones, a pair of dark blue ones, and a hair of black leather ones that really bop. My favorite pair of heels would be this pair of plaid print sandels I got at bloomingdales about the same time I got my prom dress there. And... um... my pair of blue slippers. I could sink into them *__*

If I Ruled the World

eilanhp: If you could have been born and grown up somewhere else, where would that have been? In Carmel. I love Carmel XD

praetorianguard: What would you demand in exchange for giving up your personal freedoms and civil liberties? That I'd be living in a honest Utopia and assurances that I'd be happy in that said Utopia.

wittywibbles: If there were no laws, which (former) crime would be the first you'd commit? I'm a wussy moralist, so I'd have to say something like speeding or jay walking XD.

nightfalltwen: If you could do one thing or grant one wish for someone else, what would it be? I would do the one thing, and that one thing would be to win a lotter around 20 mill so I could take care of friends and family XD. Ah, how I don't trust other people's wishes....

therealmarajade: If you could know anything about your future, what would it be? I think I'd be frightened by what I'd find out, so the only thing I'd want to know would be if Episode 3 would be a movie I'd like. Yes, the big goof that I am XD.

annamilton: Owing to a peculiar concatenation of events, you are the wealthiest person in the world, and the latter will end in 24 hours. Money being no object, and saving the world being impossible, what would you do during that last day? I would head down to my aunt's house in Carmel and be in a really hot bubble bath with a hired cutie massaging my feet as I read one of my favorite books. If that didn't work, I'd hold my favorite authors and screenwriters hostige unless they spoiled their upcoming projects plots for me.

laurelwood: If you could hunt down one childhood tormentor (whether it be bully, tattletale, mean teacher, or friend's mother who hated you for no good reason) and exact revenge upon them in some spectacular, prankish fashion without worry of consequences, who would you choose, and what would you do to him/her? I would show off how marvelous I was. haha.

robynwepsley: If I offered you a chance to have anything you wanted, the cost being someone you didn't know dies, would you accept? No. Because nothing I want in live would be worth having someone die, even if I didn't know them.

beccafran: If you could have any one superpower, what would it be? The ability to Heal people, mentally and physically. Why? Because I would freak out if I could fly, and most other abilities just seem selfish and I wouldn't be happy with a selfish superpower. I blame my Libra rising sign and Taurus Sun Sign XD

Conversely, if you could give anyone you wanted (other than yourself) one day of perfect happiness, who/why/what would you choose? I would give my mother one day of perfect happiness. I couldn't handle giving anyone a day of utter torture *shudders*

angua9: If remaining a virgin (or abstaining from sex) for the rest of your life would allow you to do real magic, would you do it? Er, since I'm a virgin now, I don't see why how it would make that much of a difference. Now, giving up tiramisu would be a strong no XD.

drbear: How much money would it take for you to appear naked (full-frontal) for five seconds on national television? 20 million dollars. Maybe more if it was on a major network.
