BEHIND THE CUT, THE SPOILS OF MY COUPONING:

(image tweaked)
This was an 8 piece, SUPER LUXE comforter set, normally priced at 299. It wasonly $109 thanks to a sale, and that was before my 20% coupon. My bed finally looks like a grownup sleeps there! (even with my san francisco giants panda :D)
But that wasn't all my spoils.
Look at my shiny new immersion blender! Kohl's has the same one for $40. It was on sale. I had a 20% off coupon. End result: :DDDDDDD
mini food processor in orange. Also on sale for under $40! Again, 20% off coupon. YEEEEEESSSS. I used it tonight to make mashed cauliflower (instead of mashed potatoes. SOO GOOOOOD).
I also picked up 2 white porcelain casserole dishes that can fit in my toaster oven.
Aunt #3's return was about $80, and she let me use the return money to cover part of my purchases. The remaining total? Just over $55.
Yes. I have won on shopping day :D. And it ended up being even better, because most of the $55 I used came from the christmas check I found yesterday from another aunt.
WINNING.
The comforter upgrade has me re-thinking my plans for the apartment. I'm thinking of getting this screen from ikea and putting it between the couch & the bed for separation. I'm also thinking of moving my dresser to block the view of the bed, too, and create the illusion of a real bedroom. Going to play with things still, but if I do end up getting the screen, I'll probably only need to get new covers for my chairs and a new couch cover and the apartment will be pretty much dialed. :D
