I think I met a lot of my goals this month, especially considering the depression and the computer crash. I lost all of my pictures. Not only did I rediscover foodporn settings on my camera, but I took quite a few landscape photos, neighborhood shots, and did lots of shots while on vacation.
This is my February picture. These sliders were the best burgers I've ever had, period. Hogs Breath Inn, Carmel. GO THERE NOW.
This was the Tuck Box, an English Tea Room. We both thought of Angie the second we saw it <33.
Best peanut butter cups ever! I just wish I'd had one ;___;
This statue was AMAZING. I'm partial to art with dimensions, and this statue was precisely why I love sculptures in particular so much. Every angle you viewed this piece in, it changed dramatically. And the amazing balance of it all! And when viewed from a certain angle?
Yeah, that's right, Neve smoking her vapours. HAHAHA BEST STATUE EVER.
The ocean turned purple for Sage's birthday X3.
You can't use flash inside the Aquarium, so it is amazing I was able to get any good shots. Especially since EVERYTHING WAS GOING TURBO SPEED. Seriously, turtles, CALM DOWN AND LET ME TAKE PICTURES OF YOU.
I loved this sea horse! Tried to get a shot of the breed last time, but they were going too fast. HAHA, GOT YOU THIS TIME!
LOOK AT HOW CUTE THEY ARE, BRO'ING IT UP <33333
HELL YEAH I GOT TO MEET AN ALBATROSS. And she totally has the Mara glare down <333.
The Mexican Lime Tree and the pretty purple-pink tree outside our house. Yeah, this was FEBRUARY. SUCK IT SNOWPEOPLE XDDD
These are the things Sage and I do. Okay, it was mostly me, but she supplied the bottle. And after Deon has some booze? Yeah. Oh yeah.
And now, what you all have been dying for:
Sage's birthday bundtini! I took far too many pictures of the tiny bundt cakes, but I think the one with the candles lit is my second favorite. XD
March Goal: Santana Row, Rose garden, possibly the nunnery. *___*

Comments: Drawn during a chat (and how it shows!). I need to get back into loose little art-scribbles. I use to be better at them. Back to the practice board!
Someone Fattened Her Up?

Subject: Vague!Future Neve
Comments: I love my no-photo blue pencils! When I get my scanner I think it will make an even more dramatic difference *___*. I really love how Neve turned out-- fattened up, as the subject says, with fashion thrown on her and her hair actually brushed. I love the dress, actually-- I was trying to think of an airy sort of fabric and then this happened XD. Drawn with no references, which is probably why her face is a bit weird around the chin/jaw lines, but I don't care. VICTORY IS MINE HERE.

Comments: This is very much a piece in progress; her hip-skirt is missing mostly because I couldn't figure out what it would look like at that angle. Her face is kind of cartoonish here, but I like it. XD

Comments: There is no shame here. Tomorrow I'm going to install photoshop so I can get the image flipped right, but here you go! Ninja Dee! Drawn without references in something like 6-8 minutes, which is UNHEARD OF FOR ME. I am really slow ;___;. My favorite part is probably her streamers attached to her wrists, because only Dee would think they wouldn't be a combat liability *___*!

Comments: I kind of ruined this with Julian's inking mistakes (oh those eyes, they were so much better in pencil ;_____:), but I love their wee little legs, especially Galen's boots. SO CUUUUUUTE.

March Goal: STILL need to do a series of sketches to regain my ability to draw Neve and Mara's faces without references once more.

I did not do as much this month as I had hoped, but considering I lost so much when my harddrive crashed at the beginning of the month and mood was seriously down due to a bunch of things, I'm not going to beat myself up. I've had a few good posts the last month, I just have to be more consistent about getting them out.
