kolSo, Sage and I music meme'd again, and invented a new word: bitsome. Or awetter. Or awebitsometter. Anyway, it is because most of mine ended up ridiculously bitter, with a tiny bit of awesome. I blame this on most of the prompts going to Mara. All of Sage's are pure awesome X0
This meme was a struggle, but I'm glad I hung in there because the drabbles aren't as unsalvageable as I first thought. I resorted to a lot of cheating as I totally forgot how to free up the brain and just write, which is essential for ending the allotted time with more than just two sentences, which happened twice X3. It took a lot of bitching and seven drabbles to get into the flow; I think dinner and busting out the heating pad probably helped more than anything else though.
#1: This quickly slipped into Neve, which is surprising until you realize this song always has held a certain scifi allure for me. It will always remind me of Anne McCaffrey's Dragon's Dawn, simply because I read the book with this song on loop ^.^;;.
#2: The theory behind this drabble is just as muddled as the drabble. I should have just skipped to another song-- the only thing I like about this one is the line 'the town’s defenders swallowed one by one by an enemy who walked in salvation’s skin.' Will probably do a redo on this and replace it with a Reed drabble. Poor guy was abandoned here XD
#3: I hate this one too, but I think the last line saves it. This drabble being so emo should have been my second clue to go eat something. XD
#4: The drabble that spawns the question, just what *would* they talk about? I don't even know how my brain went there with this song.
#5: Because this is not the end, and you know these teenage super heroes save the day. Right? RIGHT?
#6: I think this was the last one we did before I paused for fooding and it shows. This is suppose to show when she decides he's dead, but I don't think I did it justice. Will edit this better.
#7: Mara and Lynn kicking daemon ass will never get old! There are a few lines I want to strengthen, but it doesn't suck as much as the others. Probably because it isn't depressingly emo.
#8: YAY AKEMI ON STAGE! I had a line in here about her being happy to try this again, because this time she can share it with her new family the Senshi, but it was weird and I tossed it. I'm not sure about this one.
#9: DEE STOP BREAKING MY HEART THAT IS AN ORDER.
#10: I cheated so hard on this one. The drabble is suppose to take place at least a few weeks after Deon returns, so Mara's not stupidly pissed any more but still prickly about certain things. I don't see the Hunters trusting Deon much, even weeks later, so I thought about what would happen if he got hurt, and what they'd do, and this popped out. No clue how this works with Building a Mystery, but I kind of like it.
