kolI fully intended to write more yesterday, but shopping misadventures occurred, I almost was rundown at Macy's "one" day sale, and I spent too much money. But I picked up the cutest cooking tool ever! Napped the cow design and am overwhelmed by the cute <3. I also picked up these wicked measuring cups in green. Sur La Table is the bestest store ever <333 Those matching green mixing bowels will be mine soon! MUAHAHA!
I am also debating procuring another toaster oven. The current hand-me-down is a pain to clean, has heating issues, and has been infusing the aroma of burnt nasty into everything I cook irrespective of how squeaky clean the unit may be. Furthermore, I have fond memories of watching the aunt use this unit from the 90s. Definitely time to trade up, and since I'm purchasing a space heater via amazon, I might as well spring for a deluxe toaster oven. The newer models have better temperature controls so I would be able to use pyrex and silicon bakeware in them. Score! Will keep all apprised of the search.
It feels wretched being awake at 4, but I actually managed to wrangle slightly over ten hours of sleep last night thanks to konking out mid-reply to poor Ren. The legs, I am pleased to report, are no longer rebelling... but we'll see how they fare after my six hour shift, which starts in 50 minutes.
