kolI watched 6-7 last night, dubbed versions, so I don't have any initial thoughts beyond I liked them both and wow, Ichigo's english VA? Hilarious XD. Rukia's isn't all that different, IMO, which is hilarious, too. Anyway, moving on:
Episode 8: Memories in the Rain
* Ichigo's dad is crazy and totally deserved Karin kicking him down the hill. Ichigo's family is hilarious <3.
* Oh Ichigo. His reaction to Rukia crashing the visit to his mother's grave was priceless. The dancing, the freaking out, Karin remarking that little Ichigo was finally a man-- PRICELESS. I 'listened' to the dub last night while I was heading to bed (hard to read subtitles when you have your eyes closed), and I'm amused at how easily it was to figure out who was who. Especially Karin-- her voice is deadpan in any language, it seems XD
* Rukia's got foot in mouth disease. And I am far to amused by Kon's diatribe on everything always being about Hollows-- if only because it sounded at first like he was complaining about it always being about Whores. Whore-Whore-Whore! Oh Japanese, you are a funny language <3.
* Is Shinigami or Soul Reaper or Death God more accepted? I like them all, but I keep typing Shingams, which is all kinds of silly?
* And once again, everything is Ichigo's fault. XE.
* NEW THEORY: Ichigo got his powers after his stupid dad knocked him silly one time. True story!
* Is the Hollow after Karin, because she can see dead people too?
This was a very powerful episode, lots of interesting things going on. Are we going to see more of Rukia's background? Signs point to yes. Also, I keep typing Inchigo; he is not pleased with this, I think. XD. I love how Rukia is so adamant that there's nothing going on between her and Ichigo, too. And how the assassin dude finding out about Rukia breaking rules was, as usual, all Ichigo's fault. XD
Episode 9: Unbeatable Enemy
* The Hollows are pretty cool, when you think about it-- I like how this one has a lure, looking like a ghost, so people with high energy will get close and then eaten.
* HA. Everyone thinks the Soul Reaper is dead, but he's just sleeping XD. I WILL DEFEAT YOU WITH MY POWERS OF NARCOLEPSY :D
* ICHIGO STABBED. Well, almost. And just as I expected, lure!Hollow tries to use Ichigo's mother against him.
* RUKIA FLASHBACK. Apparently, she knew a guy with white hair. Who wore the usual Soul Reaper black, but with a white robe over it? Must be someone important.
* STAB YOUR MOM ICHIGO. OH YOU BIG MORON. Just stab her already! Now you got Hollow in your arm. HOW DOES THAT FEEL ICHIGO?
* AND THE HOLY MOTHER APPEARS, in a white robe, too. COINCIDENCE? Possibly, especially as it seems to be a white blazer top. And she gives him the strength to continue. YOU SHOULD HAVE STABBED HER EARLIER ICHIGO. DON'T YOU KNOW HOW THESE THINGS GO?
* His mom kind of looks like Orihime, actually.
* You know you've watched too much Avatar when a shot of Ichigo's dad looking up at the moon makes you wonder if Ichigo's mother is the moon spirit now. I can see it now, he gets Ichigo in a choke hold and points spastically at the moon. "OMG SON! I forgot to tell you! YOUR MOTHER IS THE MOON! Your seeing dead people? TOTALLY SPARKLY MOON POWERS."
* OH ICHIGO DAD. You don't give a loving talk and then ruin it by a knee to your boy's back. HARSH.
* I THINK RUKIA IS TURNED ON BY CRAZY STUPID VENGEANCE. Those tears don't fool me, Rukia! NO SHIPPING *baps*
I might have had too much diet pepsi, so I spent a lot of this episode trying very hard not to giggle but failing utterly and coughing quite a bit. Oh Bleach, stop being so hilarious XD. Also, just once, I'd like someone to actually do the stabbing (of the fake loved one being offered up as bait) without bad things/being told it is all right. Come on, it could be funny! Especially if everyone sweatdrops and is all, wait, you shouldn't have done that! XD
Episode 10: Assault on Trip at Sacred Ground!
* OKAY. THIS GUY. I LAUGHED SO HARD I FELL OUT OF BED. And then coughed. HILARIOUS DESIGN.
* Sometimes, I think Karin is the only sane one in the family XD.
* Rukia, I think you are doing the wrong kind of research. You don't try and fit in with the reality TV show peeps. You run AWAY from them. Snorting with your superior laughter.

* AH POOL CUE KNOCKS ICHIGO OUT OF HIS BODY. I love this dude. No clue what his name is, he's got that silly green/silver hat that was all over Fanime. Which means he's probably a really important character, since he had the single most popular Bleach item at con (well, that I noticed anyway). Dude, his japanese VA's voice is HOT. I listened to the dub of the previous episode with him in it, and that voice was not hot. But japanese VA's voice? OMGOMGOMG.
* AND THE SORTA GROUNDED HOLLOW THING? IT CAME FROM THE MOON. HAHA. Present from Mommy, Ichigo! XD.
* HA. Ichigo can't fight inside the hospital, because he gets his sword stuck in the wall. Aw, poor baby.
Yet another giggly episode. Totally thought the medium was going to bite the dust, but was vaguely happy he survived. Man, EVERYONE is seeing ghosts these days-- Ichigo, you are going to have to learn more things if you want to be unique chosen one hero <3.
Episode 11: The Legendary Quincy
* Okay, crazy teacher is crazy! I love Rukia's crying routine to distract crazy teacher so Ichigo and his buddies could crawl out the window and escape. I just love how the previous episode has a huge impact on the ones that follow. All this just for getting on tv? XD
* Oooh, the mysterious glasses guy from earlier I noticed! I think, anyway. His eyes had a weird glint to them in an earlier episode XD. WHY IS HE AS BIG AS GODZILLA?! This cannot be good. RUN ICHIGO. ESPECIALLY IF THE SOUL BUTTERFLIES ARE REATHY MOTHRA'S KIDS.
* And Ichigo is rated my lucky number, 23. His friends are not impressed.
Oh hell, this too:
* Glasses dude is lame. I'm sorry, but he is. You don't go up to someone and be like I HATE YOU >(!!! and expect them not to be upset and want to punch you. Especially if you say it to Ichigo. Well, foot-in-face you anyway. XD
* Quincy? Whatever. They must be lame Death Gods. I mean, seriously, he fights with IMAGINARYBICYCLE BOW. He's like Lamezilla. And he has stupid hair. Yay, first character I hate for stupid reasons <3.

* Oh, this is just not how you set up a viable villain at all. He's a Quincy? He's got lame hair? AND HE SEWS FLAMBOYANTLY?! Oh Lamezilla, you are very lame XD

Seriously? I don't like the Quncy guy, if you hadn't guessed. He's just annoying, and he represents the attack and maim and don't try to heal mentality that I hate. He's going to learn his lesson, but I don't have to enjoy watching him. Plus, his hair sucks. XD

* Okay, the theme song is starting to grow on me.
* OH GREAT LAMEZILLA, don't you know Ichigo is a Hollow magnet? DRAWING MORE IS JUST GOING TO GET YOU KILLED (hopefully). Five points says he gets turned into a Hollow. XD
* Tatsuki can see ghosts now, too? OH ICHIGO, YET AGAIN YOU ARE LONGER UNIQUE XD. Also, poor Tatsuki. First, pervy ghosts. Then, well, Bleach giving T&A fan service, half of which no one wanted.
* This episode is having a bad impression, simply because it is nullifying the Hollows as a threat. Come on, he can kill three at once? Getting to InuYasha A THOUSAND DEMONS IN ONE SWING area.
* YAY CHAD. YAY KARIN. Will we get a Karin-cannon like we did with Rukia? XD And we get flashback with Chad fanservice (yes, I took cap for you Sage XD)
* But, WTF IS THAT ON CHAD'S ARM XD
* Huh. The Hollow disintegrated? Chad is a Quincy? YOU YELL AT CHAD, KARIN. Make him stop getting hurt and emo ;(. I really hope Chad isn't a Quincy. I just can't stop thinking of them as prissy sewers with invisible bows. CHAD IS NOT LAMEZILLA, SHOW.
* And seriously? The only reason I'm stopping is google won't play the next video. THANK YOU GOOGLE. Seriously, Bleach is crazy addicting *___*.
CHAD. TATSUKI. KARIN. If these three get together, they would make an unholy Hollow fighting team. OF KICKERY AND PUNCHERY. The Quincy remains a douche. And I had to spoil myself on Chad's state because I couldn't handle the thought of him belonging to the lamezilla clan. Apparently Chad is Mexican, with an italian tattoo? Is this like Americans not realizing not all asian languages are the same? XD
