kolI was looking at my RPG rooster roster and I realized I have played more male characters than I thought. The problem is, half of them were never applied for, like my two potential guys for ANCD.
And it got me thinking of our relationship with our characters in application, and how their histories and potential relationships can twist our understanding and appreciation of the proper game canon. Which is probably why it takes me so long to turn in apps-- I'm pretty happy letting the characters run around in potentials, because it still feels *real* to me, you know?
Do you guys have the same issues? If you don't roleplay, do you have the same issue with fics?
