Year of Progress-- Art

Was wondering how I was progressing as an artist this past year. And... well.. a lot. I really noticed a difference as soon as I started a sketchbook-- I've got about fifteen others I want to put up here. Granted we're missing stuff for the rest of this month and next, but hey, I was procrastinating on the novel. Also, I skipped a lot of things. These are pictures I'm satisfied with for how I could draw.

The other thing that changed was Pix fixing my tablet. You guys have no idea how much angst that saved me-- I thought my skills had been regressing, but in fact I was just working with crazy subpar equipment.

Anyway, I've done a LOT of practicing on 3x5 cards and drawing off reference photos, both things I think have dramatically changed my ability to draw. But it still seems like my art!brain exploded in October o.0;;
