The kitchen remodel drama continues for another day of swealthering heat and uncertain power. From 10:15-3:50 we were without power due to an accident of the contractors, and when power returned, we discovered there had been a nasty power surge that killed my surge protector, our wireless router, and a good deal of Mike's equipment after one of HIS surge protectors kicked the bullet.

The good news is I've got my phone while our internet is down. The unfortunate news is without our cellular microcell, we have barely any reception and it just took five tries to load the dreamwidth update page. So I won't be on tonight, nor likely tomorrow. If you need me, toss a text my way and hopefully I'll have enough cell reception to get it XD
