1. This last weekend was both awesome and incredibly exhausting-- Annie & Scott came out to visit and we did ALL THE THINGS. SO MUCH AWESOME CRAMMED IN SUCH A WEE AMOUNT OF TIME! The highlight of the weekend was a tie between sitting around chatting over gelato in Los Altos, the delicious pickles at Cowgirl Creamery & working through my terror over super close & tall buildings in San Francisco, and the wonderful BBQ we had in my backyard on Friday. I miss them both terribly and can't wait until July-- hopefully I will get enough sleep at Readercon & will be much more coherent (and also not get shin splints from walking around in unsupportive shoes & jogging/running 2.5 miles to catch the caltrain, oops!)
2. My tiny raise at work went into effect, yay
3. The funniest thing in the world is Butter's reaction to Scott. I will never stop laughing!
4. I had the best sushi of all time and it wasn't even mine. 49er Sushi @ We Be Sushi!!!! So many butthearts
5. Defiance aired on Syfy and oh no Kol has a new weekly show. With colorful aliens & a terrible beginning of an Arcadia AU. Why brain why T____T
6. Even though the Giants lost yesterday, I'm so proud of the guys for hanging in there. At one point the game was like, 9-1, and the guys pulled it to 9-7. So proud of the boys! Also Zito lost for the first time since August, that has to be a record, right?
7. My birchbox came today. EARLY BIRTHDAY PRESENT
8. I need to work on my Rarewomen fic. Why did the canon have to end in such a disappointing way (and my recipient want backdoor dude fic for a ladies celebration fest, blerg)
9. ... I just made myself miss 30 Rock T_____T

6 hours later the bathroom is so clean, I swear the walls sparkled.

My arms feel like they are going to fall off from scrubbing the nasty nicotine off the walls, but it had a huge impact on the guys my mom lives with- I don't think they are going to stop smoking, but they are going to try and stop smoking in the house.

My secret for the walls, btw? A dish washer wand filled with vinegar & a soft sponge in the other hand.

Now I am going to take ALL of the showers
