So, after the news I got yesterday on my uncle, I didn't really get a lot of things done. And I crashed sometime around 12-12:30, which is unusually early for me, and didn't wake up again until 1:50. 1:50PM. ( Yeah.  )

Since I've been awake, we've jumped up two degrees. IN A HALF HOUR. You know things are bad when every weather website has EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNINGS scribbled all over the page.

Which means pretty much half of the shows I watch will be on Mondays. Thankfully, can bribe space on housemate's tivo so I can watch HIMYM. :D. I don't know if I'll actually watch Smallville or Supernatural-- I'm super behind on Supernatural, and Smallville is more train wreck than must-watch-tv. Greatly depends on things going on in the fall, really.

Mid-day heat? Ha! 10:30 and still over 80 degrees. The Kol is wilting, skin sagging, sullen and sticky, waiting for a blast of coolness that just isn't going to come today. Tomorrow is going to be hotter, and I'll be coming home at the apex of heat. Suffice to say, there will be no bike riding to work tomorrow, but a slow agonizing walk, hugging every trace of shade.

As for todays day's events, my chief accomplishments were cleaning half of my table and not spiraling into further angst over my uncle. The fan is helping considerably with the heavy grief stricken reaction body has been suffering, but it was tough not giving into negative thinking and fear. The few moments online with the best people EVER really helped keep me going. I love you guys so much! Each comment and IM really helped me today, and I just wanted to let you all know how much you guys mean to me.

We really don't have a lot of time, and a lot of it gets wasted on silly things, so putting aside time for thanks and luff is something I'm really going to try and do in the future. Especially to the people who really matter, who really are such amazing people. I'm so proud to know each and every one of you guys :3!

Author's Note: This is a speculative fic, written before we had finale spoilers, of what happens AFTER the war is over, particularly Toph's way of handling the gaang breaking up. I think her reaction to it would be fascinating, so I decided to write how I saw the situation out.
