Apr. 8th, 2005 09:08 pmSo instead of going to catch Sin City, we decided instead to catch Hitch... or Sahara. I have to say, Oakridge has grown up since my last visit-- I hardly recognized the place where I use to mallhop as a bitty kid with my sister and family. It's really a structure that models how malls *should* be. Organized, centrally located, lots of directories-- and a two story movie theater.
Hitch was a rather hilarious movie above the mere romantic "aw" ratio. I'm awarding it a rare 4 1/2 stars, which is really bizarre for movies lately. I hope Will Smith makes more romantic comedies-- I really perfer him returning to his comedy roots instead of jumping into Sci-Fi bits.
Afterwards, we Victoria's Secret and mocked the store, and then investigated plus sized manikans at Old Navy. That only made my estimation of the Mall dramatically increase-- especially after discovering a TARGET. My heart burst with hearty glee, but we had to return back to the dorms because it was closing in on 9 and I wanted to catch the openning episode of Atlantis again.
We need to have more adventures like today. Especially if they include free candy at See's and mocking Victoria's Secret ^.^;;
