kolThere are times when a n00b to a game realizes how ignorant they were. Last night's chat was a real eye opener for me-- it made me realize how unconnected I was with MS.... until I heard the WHOLE backstory to various past events. I want to thank you for letting me into the lowdown last night, Pixle-- seriously, I totally get MS now in a way I don't think I did, fangirling aside, before.
I probably should have kicked off the chat aground 10 due to utter exhaustion and the terribly potatoES error, but I was a happy Kol for all the history I was getting. It was like I was being let IN, you know?
It made me realize how esoteric SM RPGs tend to be. While I felt honored to be let in to the next circle and allowed to know more (which made me feel I was leaving behind n00bage circle), it also was pretty shocking to realize how ignorant I am of the various cross-RPG wanks. I think I've been extremely sheltered as a Player-- GK only has like, 1 wangst issue in it's (almost) 4 years on the web and she's gone now.
So, I want to assure everyone that my SM RPG essay will not include any cross-RPG wangst unless I have the explicit permission of the GM <3.
