Long day was long

I LOVE having my bed where it is now! But there's just one teeny tiny, itsy bitsy problem: I wake up facing the bathroom. Must remember to shut the door tonight *___*. Waking up to a blank door is a little better, though I'd love these stuck to the surface for some badly needed whimsy. But, that's way out of my budget *___*. These Koi would look awfully cute, too! Ahh, I can dream <3.

Going to have to spam SG/CC/Kingdom tomorrow after work. I can barely keep my eyes open, and since I have to get up ridiculously early tomorrow, I might as well just call it a night.. Supernatural will still be on tivo tomorrow <3.

Y'know... The dollar store near me has a range of lovely wall decals. I got a set that is over the arch in my living room that's a pale, shadowy grey of the words "Live well, laugh often, love much." If you like, I can see if there's anything interesting there for your Door Problem.

Really? I never would have thought the dollar store would have such a thing! Ours tend to focus on toys and expired food. I'll have to see if my parents can keep an eye out as well, since they are always picking up items to re-sell in their business.

The other idea was to mount one of my Turkish scarfs, but, well, then I couldn't wear it XD.

Oh man, those dandelion decals are so so SO awesome. I don't blame your lust for them.

Do your plans for the apartment include a paint job, or do you have to keep the walls white?

Rickrolled... by icon?! EGADS!

Neither! I can't paint, but that's fine because I like the walls the way they are (http://www.flickr.com/photos/kolamity/15670251/)! The neutral scheme doesn't distract from the black/white/muted orange-gold/maroon/brown look of the main room. The big statement is going to be the window treatments. Curtains ftw!

But there's been some discussion of using a renters trick on the tv wall, starching fabric to the wall. It works pretty well and once you wet the fabric, it comes down without any damage to the paint! But I haven't seen any fabric I like yet *__*.

But it is a cheaper and easier alternative to painting!
