Taking a break from the 49er game
It makes me so happy to see
wrimies doing so well <3333!
Does feel nice to have plans for Thanksgiving this year! I will be bringing my stuffing muffins and have enabled two plans for leaving early. Thankfully, Black Friday is a pretty good one, and if that fails, I can fake a cough pretty well, so Aunt 3 is totally going to give me the signal to force a coughing fit if things get heated. Trust me, these plans are super important for surviving a Leonard Family Thanksgiving.
Because that side of the family is just batshit crazy. XD
There's four--- FOUR-- family drama's unraveling before Thanksgiving this year. This is actually a good sign that we'll have a drama-free turkey day for a change, because hopefully people will have angsted themselves to exhaustion within the next month. Hopefully.
I have my doubts, but you never know. When the girls aren't freaking out over one another, we *can* have fabulous times. So long as we keep Aunt #2 WELL away from my mother and keep the booze WELL away from Aunt #6.
Heaven help us if cousins 2.a & 2.b with their hoards of children descend upon the festivities, especially as Genie has 8 kids alone *___*.
Neck still tender to touch, but doesn't ache unless I do something stupid like strain it.
Which I did today, when I woke up with CB cough.
It could just be my lungs yelling at me to wear more layers now that we have colder weather or it could be the CB being a sneaky bastard and trying to sabotage Nano efforts. In my funk, I'm voting option two. I rarely get CB in winter, as there usually aren't environmental aggravations like there are in the summer, so I'm hoping this is just body telling me to bundle up and stay inside.
The cough medicine seams to have suppressed the coughing ceased, but I'm worried because my chest is sensitive when I touch it. Which means I'm taking it easy today and staying in bed. Again. ;___;.

We're definitely getting some colder weather over here in TN. It feels awesome, though. *bundles you up*
