Went out and bought the iPad & an Apple TV for my mom's 60th birthday, which we'll be celebrating on Thursday due to family availability. So until then, I get to play with shiny iPad and make sure it is fully loaded for that wonderful surprise.
The only trouble is I can't get the apple tv to hook up to my tv (mum and I have the same tv sets, so what works for mine should work for hers). This is going to be trip #4 or 5 to Fry's tomorrow, and if this doesn't work, I have to return the Apple TV and think up another gift.
But on the plus side, I now have a cable that allows me to hook up my laptop to the tv. HELLO NETFLIX ON MY GIANT TV :D
(testing this iPad out has been a mistake already, Kol wants all the iPads. ALL OF THEM)
