The Kol has arrived!
Home, that is!
The Flight Home.
State upon return:
The Flight Home.
So, we stopped for drinks before the flight, and thought we were totally on top of things. Then, my aunt (who really DID break her big toe) left her cell in the rental car, and we didn't discover this until WE WERE AT OUR GATE. Thank God I got both of us to the airport early. As it was, she had to take a shuttle to the car place, a shuttle back, and go through security again. Suffice to say, she was one of the last people on our flight XD.
Flight was odd, itself. We bought sleep masks, but they totally didn't work, and they played Music and Lyrics, which we'd rented the night before! But we got a really nice 'snack'-- a cold Thai Chicken with noodles-- that filled us right up. And then... we proceeded to try valiantly to sleep. But there were several major factors that prohibited me from reaching slumberland.
The worst, of course, was the wee baby behind me in the cabin. About once every hour it would start HOWLING. And then the stewardess kept coming up to us wanting to know if we wanted water. I'm like, HELLO MY CUP IS FULL THANK YOU. So I tossed around for the full 5 hour flight and then we were in San Fran! It was easy leaving, and our bags were the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th up at baggage claim. Karma wee!
I've had worse flights, but... I really wanted to sleep XD

My uncle took one look at the state my aunt was in and drove me home XD. We stopped in at the Safeway by work, not because they had particularly *good* food or anything, but because I knew a few of my co-workers would be working and I totally needed the 4-11. And... our store manager apparently was fired. BIG CHANGES. I might stop in later today to see what is up XD
Then, at the house, I was greeted by bugs. Dead bugs. Not a fun homecoming, but easy to vacuum up. Will speak to housemates later-- ew, I just saw a live bug >.<. Easy to kill, apparently. Thank God for RAID. And for being home. OMG SO HAPPY XD
