Nano-enthusastic
Well, after fiddling around with designs for the Nano 03 novel since July, yours truly crafted a design that actually WORKS. I've dubbed it "Green" for lack of a better term and really like how it came together-- I adore the appearance of "clean layouts" and abhor the use of 'too much brushes,' so the "Green" layout certainly exemplifies the "clean lines" with the exception of the ever-changing navigation side XD
I must thank Image-Cafe for image I used for both the banner and 'box' image as well as the ever helpful W3C Recommendation CSS level 1 site, which eased away the problem I was having getting the table-backgrounds to work correctly :)
The site is far from done... but it's still September, so compared to the madness that was last year I'm far head of the game.
As for the posting of the novel, it will be done using the ever-handy greymatter with the help of categories. Only the first two parts of book one will be posted (around 140 pages), but the rest of the novel will remain offline to avoid future publication problems. After November 30, 2003 all chapter files will be converted to pdf format and will remain in their unedited glory on the site. As the novel will HOPEFULLY be around 700 pages, 1/7 of the unedited novel being up will HOPEFULLY be considered a long teaser XD.
And now I must run to set-up of the Bird Show at the SJ Fairgrounds to help my parents get down from their Cactus and Succulent Buying High XD.
